Every year, I make a playlist of my five favorite songs from each month. I decided to make book covers for my 2024 playlist in order to challenge myself when it comes to conceptualizing a story. Here are my favorites.
wattpad then and now
I learned Photoshop when I was 11 so I could make book covers for Wattpad. It’s been 10+ years, so I thought I’d revamp them. I present to you the side-by-sides.
columbia publishing course
During the Columbia Publishing Course, I had the opportunity to conceptualize an entire book from start to finish. My partner and I came up with “The Real Housewives of Sparta,” a look into the lives of women in Ancient Greece as told through a comedic lens. Each chapter would have a “scene” from the Real Housewives. I designed a book cover, interior, and jacket as presented
